Mega Charizard + Pelipper - Lexicon VGC

Regulation M-B · Doubles · theiappi95 · 14 July 2026

SunRain

Winning team of Alexanderil (Lexicon VGC) at the Grand Champions Festival Encor, one of the biggest Champions tournaments to date. A flexible sun and rain screens offense that flips weather to fit the matchup. Charizard Y brings sun, Pelipper brings rain, and Grimmsnarl's Reflect plus Light Screen turn frail attackers into tanks that survive the format's big special hits. Under rain, Archaludon fires instant Electro Shot and snowballs into a near unkillable win condition, while Choice Scarf Basculegion revenge kills and cleans late game with Last Respects. Tailwind, Scarf and Chlorophyll stack speed control so you almost always move first, and Venusaur's Sleep Powder disrupts from a Focus Sash. Lead Grimmsnarl + Pelipper for screens, or Charizard + Venusaur for sun offense. Watch out for Mega Tyranitar and Mega Frostlass, the main answers to Charizard. EV spreads reconstructed via damage calc by Wjbax.
