A sun team is built around harsh sunlight, set by the Drought ability the moment its user switches in. Sun boosts every Fire-type move by 50% and cuts Water-type moves by 50%, doubles the Speed of Chlorophyll users, and lets Solar Beam and Solar Blade fire the same turn instead of charging. Growth also sharply raises Attack and Special Attack in sun. Set the sun, then hit hard before it fades.

A good sun team keeps the sun up and turns it into fast, heavy damage. You want a Drought setter, a Chlorophyll sweeper to abuse the doubled Speed, and a Fire attacker that turns the 50% boost into knockouts, plus a backup for when sun ends.
