Mega Baxcalibur Psychic Terrain + TR

Regulation M-C · Doubles · theiappi95 · 9 Sep 2026

Trick RoomPsychic

First team of the new reg. Baxcalibur-Mega is the main attacker. Adamant, 242 Attack, with Dragon Dance, Icicle Crash and Glaive Rush behind Protect. Thermal Exchange raises its Attack when it is hit by a Fire move, so Fire coverage aimed at it is not reliable removal. Indeedee-F provides Psychic Surge and Trick Room. Armarouge, at 85 Speed, is the slowest member and the one that benefits most from inverted turn order. Psychic Terrain also blocks priority moves against grounded targets, which limits Sucker Punch and Extreme Speed during the setup turn. Sneasler holds Psychic Seed with Unburden. The Seed is consumed on Terrain activation for +1 Special Defense, and the empty item slot doubles its 173 Speed. Coaching gives Baxcalibur +1 Attack and +1 Defense without spending Baxcalibur's own turn, which in practice comes up more often than Dragon Dance. Basculegion runs Choice Scarf with Adaptability: Wave Crash off 164 Attack, Last Respects scaling with fainted teammates, and Flip Turn to leave an unfavourable Choice lock. Psychic Terrain also disables your own priority. Sneasler's Fake Out and Basculegion's Aqua Jet fail against grounded targets while it is active, so leading Indeedee alongside either of them costs a turn. The team also carries two conflicting speed modes: Sneasler after Unburden and Baxcalibur after Dragon Dance operate at normal turn order, while Indeedee and Armarouge operate under Trick Room. The mode should be chosen at team preview. Ground is the clearest weakness. Armarouge, Sneasler and Kingambit each take 2× and no member resists it. Kingambit takes 4× from Fighting. The spreads are a first draft and have not been tuned over a full ladder run. Team originally built by Italian player and content creator Pardini.
